NEW TEACHER INDUCTION PROGRAM

Personalized mentoring, seminars, and resources support novice teachers as they move from an initial to a professional license.

 

NEW EDUCATOR ORIENTATION

All new educators receive a five-day orientation before school starts to help them kickstart their teaching career in BVSD.

 

PARTNERS IN EDUCATION MASTER’S PROGRAM

Intensive, embedded support is provided for novice teachers who are pursuing a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

 

TEACHER SUPPORT PROGRAM

A customized program is offered to support non-probationary teachers in improving their classroom practices.

 

TUITION REIMBURSEMENT

BEGINNING TEACHER INDUCTION PROGRAM

Financial support is provided to teachers to further their education and professional growth.

 

IN-DISTRICT PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

We offer many opportunities to participate in professional development within our own district.

 

1:1 LAPTOP DISTRICT

Our district is 1:1 in grades 3 to 12. This gives our students and teachers the opportunity to take advantage of all this technology has to offer. Grades 6 to 12 currently use the learning management system, Haiku, to help organize all the avaliable digital tools.
